Beavis and Butthead to make a Comeback

MTV is bringing back the 1990's animated series Beavis and Butthead. I'm sure Justin Beiber fans are like "Beavis and Butt-who?" No date has been set but MTV said the show will air late this year.

So... they fired Lauren Conrad to make room for Beavis and Butthead. Come to think of it... doesn't the blonde one (I assume is butthead) look like Spencer Pratt? Hopefully this generation of MTV viewers will appreciate this show. Cornholiooooooo

MTV dumps Lauren Conrad

MTV has passed on Lauren Conrad’s latest TV venture, a series that was following the reality TV good girl’s blossoming fashion career. The dressed up reality show, shot in a documentary style, “just didn’t feel like a perfect fit,” according to the network.

“We decided not to go ahead with the show,” MTV executive David Janollari, tells Entertainment Weekly. “She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that’s also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances. We love her! We would love her on our network!”

After the network’s decision not to air her show, a disappointed Conrad took a swipe at MTV in a statement with an unflattering insinuation about its viewer demographic, according to Us Weekly.

“We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result,” Conrad says. “MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it.”

Manny Pacquiao on MTV Cribs

Check out pound for pound boxer Manny Pacquiao's MTV cribs episode. Watch the video then read my comments below. "HI I'm Manny Pacquiao.. come into my crib." haha gotta love the guy.

1.) I love when he opens his fridge and he has Seafood City plastic bags.
2.) Such a down to earth guy. Even though he's a multi millionaire his kids still share rooms
3.) His house is nice but simple... he's not super cocky about things.
4.) I love how in the end instead of kicking out the MTV crew out of  his house like the other celebs who do Cribs, he's the one who takes off for "practice."

Intervention Spinoff?

As previously reported on PerezHilton.com, A&E is creating a spinoff of their critically acclaimed and everyone's (secret) favorite show, Intervention, called Relapse. The show follows the country's leading SOBER coaches as they travel to save the lives of "ex" addicts who turn back to drugs and alcohol. Sounds like a cool show. Every party has a pooper ....

America's Next Top Model Cycle 16

@MsChaCha05 notfied me that  the AMTM cycle 16 cast was revealed today on CW.com.  I can't find a bigger picture and I can't really tell who's who. The girl on the left looks out of place. I hope she wins. lol

After 16 seasons and going through stupid gimmicks like the space theme opening a couple of seasons ago, and the short model version of the show ... I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last season for Top Model.  I think the best part about ANTM is the theme for the photoshoots... wow.. they never run out of crazy ideas. Hopefully they have more cool ones...

AMTM cycle 16 starts on Feb 23 on CW.

Real World returns to Las Vegas

MTV is bringing back The Real World to Las Vegas for the third time. The first time was in 2002 with Trishelle and Steven etc. Then they brought back the same cast in 2007 for a six-episode reunion.  This time around … a whole new cast of twenty-somethings will be storming Vegas and bringing their drama and hogging for attention. Yes, I’m bitter. I’ve always wanted to be on the show and I’m way above the cut off age of 24.  :(

This new cast of Real Worlders will be housed at the Hard Rock Café instead of the Palms Casino Resort. I wonder what happened to the Maloofs?  Anyway, I found this link with a list and pics of the supposed cast members.  Enjoy!

The only show I watch from the list of winners is Modern Family. I actually just started watching it this season. It's pretty funny. Hot In Cleveland is okay. I saw the pilot, it's funny but I guess this is more targeted towards the older female demo.  We'll see how it goes..
